Happy New Year everyone!!! Every new year is just so surreal to me. The blank slate. I've always said that when you are going to go do something make sure you have a story to tell. I like being able to say something when people asked, "So what did you do tonight?". Well last night was no exception.

I woke up in the morning to a blanket of at least 3 inches of snow on the ground. Great. It took me out a half-hour to get to my 5 minute away job. That picture I took while I was stopped at a red light. Thanfully my job let me about a lil bit early after an extra half-hour of sports talk. I got all dressed in my pretty skirt & my fem-bot shirt BUT then came the snow again. See there's always gunna be a story. My friend Erin & I turned around from our original bar we were going to go to and then went into the town I live in. It took us 5 bars to find one that was the friendliest and got one cat-call from the train conductor that passes through my town too. Yes, we were the youngest ones in the bar by at least 40 years but we had fun. They gave us free champagne, party hats, beads, & poppers.

I guess snow has a crush on me & wanted to be my kiss at midnight. This is the photo from outside the bar a lil after midnight. It's okay. I was flattered with the snow's crush, I just wish snow wasn't so cold. I miss the warmth of a relationship...
Well 2010. Hi! I'm still here, still fighting, still missing, still getting over, & still trying my hardest. I got my lil Disney picture day-by-day calendar beside on January 1st. It's going to be a rocky road but I will trudge my way through it. Happy New Years day everyone & Good luck!!

Day #1: Smile Project of things that made me smile: My friend's sister's 2 year old playing with the lil Elmo Ice Cream Truck I gave him for Christmas & then him going Happy New Year to me. Absolutely adorable.
