Sunday Stolen Moments...

Every Sunday I have a lil topic called Stolen Moments. One Day I was at a local wine shop and saw a bottle of wine called Stolen Moments. It was a rose wine that just stole your breath away. On the bottle it read..."A fresh and distinct wine created for life's hectic pace" and indeed my life has a real hectic pace right now, but I always manage to have a few quick weekend moments that I never want to forget.

This weekend I remembered how much I enjoyed blogging. Hearing people's stories, looking at pictures, seeing new purchases, hearing the latest gossip from the high teas for the royal wedding, learning how some of the world is bracing for Fall while others are rejoicing for Spring, the different opinions, and the people...Ohh I miss the people I've connected with on here. I may never meet all of you but you've changed my life forever. I tried to come back last week but it was a struggle like a raging storm. But it has passed and I'm ready to rock and roll. I realized I can write out my blogposts at lunch and then type them up when I go home. It's a plan and I can't wait to tell you more...

Here are my stolen moments of the weekend...

~ With the new job and my tight couponing budget for certain grocery/drugstore items I was able to make a purchase I just couldn't wait any longer to do. I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning and headed to Target to pick up that camera. Canon Powershot SX130IS. I have never been so happy! It has such crisp clear shots and it's so easy to use and IT WAS ON SALE!!!! Regularly it was $229.99 and I bought it for $149.99. That's an $80 difference. Hell Yeah!! My main reason for buying this one was the zoom. Odds are I won't be right up against something so I want to be prepared. It's not that heavy, has a 3.0' LCD screen and 12.1 megapixels. For right now...it's perfect.

~ Finally the tulips have bloomed and I stopped to smell the flowers. I find it so important not to forget to enjoy the lil things. Those pictures are all from my new camera. I love the fallen red tulip. Even tho it was on the ground it still was beautiful. "Cuz there's beauty in the breakdown..."

~Having a girl's night on Saturday night with my best friend Erin. We've been friends for 15 years. It was so nice to talk to a friend who's been there through it all. Knows all the references, the people, and the stories. We talked for hours and it was so enjoyable. I love my boyfriend and spending time with him but sometimes you need time with your gal pals for some serious girl talk. =)

~Setting up CJ an account on my Wii. Our relationship has gotten very interesting lately and is hitting new plateaus as a year approaches and I don't know but seeing his Mii next to mine made my heart smile. Our lives are growing together and there are times where I'm so thankful and feel so lucky. =)

~Cj and I also fixed my kitchen faucet. It had been leaking since I moved in and he jumped at the challenge. That man amazes me more and more every day. He watched some vidoes and talked to guys at Lowes and we successfully changed out my faucet. Whew....$400 I didn't have to spend! YIPPEE!!!

What were your STOLEN MOMENTS this Weekend?

Okay I'm going to go get ready for the week. See you all soon! I'm going to be catching up!!
...Til Tomorrow...

Awwww, the wii thing made me smile big time. I am so glad you two are happy. :-)

It was a long weekend for me thanks to the royal wedding and the may public holiday, and it was a great one. My favourite "stolen moment" I guess was yesterday when the sun was shining, and me and my boyfriend went on a really long walk to a park i have never been to before, and just sat by a pond eating ice cream and chatting. It was lovely.

I know how you feel about blogging. I can stick to posting sort of regularly but I just have lulls where I don't bounce around and check out everyone's page. Sometimes I just need to stop paying attention for a couple weeks to get rejuvenated.
