A Successful Treasure Hunting Saturday...

Today was supposed to be my Condo's street Tag Sale but apparently people got scared away of putting out their loot when it started to drizzle. It never happened. I'll admit I was so aggravated this morning because I got up on a Saturday morning at 7:30am to prepare. Oh well...Instead I went treasure hunting at the other sales in my area and found absolutely beautiful and unique things.  I went to a friend's Estate Sale and the Dominican Sisters Convent Flea Market. =)

Unfortunately a friend of my mother's passed away named Seal a while back. She was always such a happy bubbly woman and was a lady volunteer fire-fighter for over 40 years. Her family decided today was the day to have the Estate sale for her things. I knew her many years too so I ran to the sale to maybe pick something up that was hers. I was very succssful indeed. =)

These beautiful pins were Seal's. I love the big rose.

This lil figurines were her husband's mothers. On the back they say 1948. I couldn't pass them up!

This beautiful leaf dish was a wedding gift from 50 odd years ago that was never opened. It's going right on my coffee table!! =)

The following items I picked for a Grand Total of only $16 at the Covent Flea Market.

A Hummigbird ring holder. I love the bird it's so pretty!

I'm not quite sure where I'm going to put it, but this painting is Home Goods Perfect! =)

This curio cabinet will be a future DIY. I'm going to clean it up, paint it and who knows...

Isn't this one of those expensive bags I see in Hallmark??? I got it for $1...I might resell this at a larger price, probably not because It's just my colors....
What a saved day! Hopefully I'll get to see CJ later and then this day will be awesome!

Have you gone to any Tag Sales and Flea Markets lately?
