Halloween was a blast!! I’m on the I <3 Halloween bandwagon but seriously what other day can you dress up like a superhero & get away with it!! Hehe. I was Hit-Girl from Kickass this Halloween & CJ was, of course, Kickass. At first it took us forever to actually find a bar that had people even dressed this Halloween. I guess because it was a Sunday this year maybe not a lot of people were too eager to go all out. Well I did a lil extra for us all. When we found where the party was all the ghouls & goblins showed up & rocked my town all night!
I’m all for the original costumes or not the costume every single person is doing so I was very very happy to see what people came up with. I saw a guy dressed as Raman Noodles, Jay & Silent Bob, Zac with the baby from the Hangover, the cast of Gilligan’s Island, Pat Benatar from Love is a Battlefield, the Flintstones, Ralph from Muppet Babies, a whole Bib Lebowski tribute with the Folger’s can and all, & even an Audrey Hepburn with the long cigarette stick!! Only one Snookie was found & he looked awesome. Yes I said he. Lol! Everyone thought CJ & I looked pretty authentic too. CJ got a shout-out for being Kickass during one of the bar’s band’s songs. It made his night.
Here are some of the Kickass pics of us we managed to get & an honorable mention I had to do.

|CJ doubled as Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. He's so adorable.|

|My dear friend Ben, yes BEN. His costume was exceptional. =)|
It ruled. I must say tho I learned a few things about why female superheros do the things that they do. For starters, it is impossible to carry a purse AND wear a cape. The cape is useless. Cleavage works to distract the bad guys. Um…Oh high heels are a no-go. From fighting crime your feet will hurt after 5 minutes. Also the mask cuts off depth perception. No wonder they missed the punches every so often.
Alas I had to take off the wig, the boots, & lay my cape to rest until next Halloween. I love how the stores have completely converted to Christmas already less than 24 hours after Halloween. BUT before the end I DID get to go the HEADLESS HORSEMAN Haunted Hayrides & Haunted House. It was absolutely amazing!! It’s voted #1 in the country & it’s true. There’s haunted corn mazes, spooky greenhouses, a phenomenal hayride story, & a chainsaw man who just wouldn’t leave you alone. It was a kickass conclusion to this year’s Halloween. I bid you all goodnight & pleasant nightmares. Mwahahaha.
