I'm a Roll...Oh Btw This isn't a Bread Post!

Please somebody pinch me because I don’t want this part of the ride to stop! The Interview went Amazing!!! THREE HOURS Long amazing! I hadn’t been on an interview in 4 years before all of this and I was an interviewing poster-child. I had screenshots of what I did at my previous company, recommendation letters, and tried so hard to have a perky attitude. I had extra copies of my resume and plunged straight forward in. If the company is letting you meet the President of the headquarters and chiefs and executives I think that’s a good thing…right?

What I found odd though is this…EVERYONE said I had an impressive resume because I had done so much in the past & have worked since I was 13; BUT I’ve had my resume on Career Builder, Monster.com, Yahoo Hot Jobs…etc…if it was listing jobs you name it I had my resume there with absolutely NO BITES from any company except commission-pay insurance companies…So I have to ask, How come having my resume up there had no help? Maybe because there is too many people applying to these so-called jobs or people just don’t read emails anymore from prospective candidates on these job sites? I don’t know but it’s weird to me…really weird.

I have another interview on Monday at 10am with the lady that would be training me and another partner in the operations. It’s so cool. What’s a better more professional word that means “Cool” but sounds better? I felt like a kid in the interview saying, “Wow that program is cool” but they didn’t seem to mind. A 3 hour interview was a lil intimidating but I’m looking at it as a plus!!

Talk about moving on, you know? I’ve had to move on and take those next steps for the past 2 years in almost everything. I’m just going to keep my fingers crossed that it continues right!! I'm darn right shell-shocked this is all going so fast. I can't tell you how worried I was...BUT Here’s Hoping again!! I just have to promise myself not to worry about it until Sunday night. It’ll be fine. ..I’ve gone this far it’s foolish to turn back.

*Fingers Crossed*

That's awesome!
I understand putting your resume up there, but I think a lot of people just would rather see the potential employee in person and get to know them rather than see what they can submit on Monster.

Everyone is pulling for you. I'm sure you'll shine. "stellar," "innovative," "interesting," "unique," "refreshing..." --a few synonyms for cool that I'm sure you'll never use. ;o)

How exciting! That's awesome! A three hour interview, oh my gosh that's long but they must have liked you to have you around for three hours!! GOOD LUCK!

I think the online sites can be good for certain jobs for the majority of people, it ends up being a lot of spam...which is super unfortunate because finding a job is hard enough!

Those websites never work unless you're actually applying for jobs on there. It's not you - they're just kind of useless like that.

Good luck & crossing my fingers! :)

How exciting!! It's hard out there in the cold, hard job-searching world, but it's intensely exciting when someone recognizes your potential for a position. So, congrats! I can't wait to hear how this all turns out for you!
